Most of the movies you listed are also all time favorites of mine. Another fav is Pay it Forward. Get the kleenex!! Others to watch multiple times are Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, Must Love Dogs, Shall We Dance, While You Were Sleeping.. I could go on forever! I like to fall asleep watching a movie and I can watch these for a week at a time. A new one I just got this week is P.S. I Love You. I know I’ll be watching this one many more times! (You) Sandra Brown, Janet Evanovich and John Grisham are my most favorite authors. Keep the stories coming!

Sandra Brown!
You and I are on the same page with some of your movie choices! I too like the movies where you can actually see yourself in the movie going thu the trials & the happy times with them. It’s nice to see that I have something in common with such a brilliant person like you! Some of my favorite movies, one of which to me is an all time classic, Gone with the Wind. Oh I can see myself as Scarlet, loving one man all your live and when its all said and done you go thru all these emoations of sorrow, anger, pain, hatred, and then by the end a complete understanding. Another favorite is “Steel Magnolias” This movie to me is what really put Julia Roberts on the silver screen. The cast was so dynamatic. “Office & a Gentalmen” well anything that has Richard Greer in an Officer’s Dress Whites! HELLO!!!!!!!!! I love Barbara Striesand and just this weekend was when I saw “The Way We Were” for the first time! What a great movie, however I was hoping for a different ending. “The Mirror has two faces” & “Up Close & Personal” if you haven’t seem these then you may like them.
I like movies but LOVE your books! I am currently reading “Ricochet” and I’m a slow reader because I want to pick up on everything and I can’t seem to put the book down. My husband loves that because it gives him time to watch Sports. LOL I dont want to say anything about it becasue if someone hasn’t read it, and is reading this, I will say to you go to the bookstore and buy it TODAY! DO NOT WAIT!!!!!!!!! What a great BOOK! One of my favs from you! Other all time Fav is “Breath of Scandal” Oh my mother in law, who I got started on you, hasn’t read this one and I am trying to get it for her. I think too that this one should be made into a movie. I know that is kind of not a want to but I think that this one would be so good. But all of your books are great! Again I see myself in this one as going thru all of these tough times and you really experience it and that to me make it the best book! Aside from the Bible this you, Sandra Brown, to me are the best writer! Thanks for blogging today!
Hope that you enjoyed reading this! –Sumer

Sandra,
Another great movie I forgot to tell you about it “Derailed”. Jennifer & Clive do an wonderful job. I never saw the ending coming! I think that is all I can think of. May come up with more later.

Hello Sandra,
This is so exciting, I adore your books!!! But, I do have a few movie suggestions, sometimes I think I have an “old soul”, I love old movies. If you can find Mr. Skeffington, it’s a black and white, I forget who stars in it, but it’s great. Also, I love John Wayne, McClintock, Big Jake, In Harms Way, and The Quiet Man are some of my very favorites. One more, it’s kind of special to me. My husband loves baseball with a passion, he played in college, and coached and mentored playes of differnet ages. He loves the history of the game, the way it used to be. Anyway, For the Love of the Game, with Kevin Costiner, and Kelly Preston is one of my favorite movies. Everytime I watch it, I notice something different. I could go on and on, but my son just informed me he wants more bacon, duty calls. I look forward to your new releases, take care.
Sincerely,
Amy Sullivan

Hi,
I just finished “Play Dirty” novel and loved it. Finished in one day. Now you know I did not get a thing done here at home. It was raining out and a great day to read.
Thanks for a nice relaxing day..
Sincerely

HI,
A note to say I just finished reading “play dirty”. Read on a nice relaxing day. Lucky it was raining out and of course I did not get a thing done here in the house, but I finished the whole book in one day. I really do not care for stories of this nature, but could not put this book down. A first for me.
Thanks Sincerely

Sandra, no wonder I love your books! You are such a “real” person with the same likes and dislikes. I loved reading your blog about movies and learning what you enjoy. I am also anxious to see Mama Mia and The Dark Night. I love your books with the mystery and love interest. I don’t think I have missed a single one. I would love to see your work in movies but I believe you have said that once you sell it they take liberties with the story and it doesn’t always come out the same. I would add Gone With The Wind and The Way We Were to the movie list also. Thank you for the hours of entertainment you provide with your books and for doing the blog so that an avid admirer can get to know you better.

Sandra,
Not only do I LOVE all your books but so does my sweet husband! He read “Play Dirty” right after I finished and said that the books was GREAT! He is a voracious reader and can read a number of novels in one sitting…I have dyslexia and it’s a little tougher for me and it takes me quit a bit longer…but I always love reading anything you write! I still think “The Texas Trilogy” were my favorites…among others!
Keep writing and I know we will always keep reading. Thanks a million!

Sandra,
As a military spouse I want to thank you for writing such great books. Reading your books helped me get thru nights alone and it kept me busy so that I didn’t think of the “what might happen” while he is away. Now that my husband is retired and home all the time, I can still read them and take my mind off our chldren who are active duty in the military and will be deployed next year.
Can’t wait to read your newest book. Thank you again for filling lonely nights with pleasure!
