Lots of Happy News!
I’m very pleased to announce that the first annual ELF award has been given out. Kelli Trapnell (in photo with me), who w
as chosen by the selection committee at TCU, showed great promise, incredible range in her writing and professionalism. She’s also a very lovely young woman, and we celebrated with dinner at DelFriscos. While I didn’t have a hand in the selection process, I couldn’t be happier if I had!
Congratulations to Kelli. I’m sure this is only the beginning of many wonderful things to come your way.
Also, congratulations to my great friend, Candace Camp on making the New York Times bestseller list with her new release, The Courtship Dance.
For those of you who have been emailing asking about a new book this year, SMASH CUT will be released August 11, 2009. Look for a cover, a behind-the-scenes-video and more goodies in the next few weeks! It’s already up at Amazon.com which means you can pre-order it now!

Thank you Sandra Brown. You have made my days so enjoyable. I love to read your books. I have only found out about you and your books about 2 years ago and I have already read 35 of your books. My three favorites are Envy, The Alibi , and Play Dirty. But I also love every one of you books.
I also love Smoke Screan. I can’t wait for your newest book. Are you writing a new one now? I hope so. THANK YOU SANDRA

Thanks for a good read. Much to my surprise, I thought I was in for the traditional formulary ride when I grabbed this large print version of your book Envy as my weekend reading when I visited my son in Austin, TX. this Easter. What suspenceful, engaging, and yes, as you well know, romatic, storyline. I actually by passed the intimate parts to get back to the drama. Now that’s not me. Especially when my family would term a a book-a-holic. Although nowadays, it a Books on CD’s Aholic.
I hope your agent got you revenues for writing two extraordinary books in one.Envy was my inauguration to your writing style, and I can only expect it will continue to exceed my expectations.
