An Office & a Gentleman & SMASH CUT
August 24th, 2009
Dear Butch,
In answer to the question you posted here, David Caruso played the character Toppper Daniels in the movie “An Officer & a Gentleman”. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Just a light hearted, FYI. In your outstanding novel, “Ricochet” the main character’s name is Duncan. Those of us who have that name know when you shorten it, it’s “Dunc” NOT “Dunk”. Thanks for the great story.
I’m confused. I am reading “Smash Cut” and am really loving it. It’s seeming so predictable but I know you will have a “surprise” soon. I’m only on page 212 but am really enjoying it! But I noticed you have Doug and Sharon Wheeler as characters but then on Page 210, 212 & 213 you refer to Sharon as Susan?? Did I miss something? I love your books and have enjoyed them for many years! All of them! I’ve also read all your J.D. Robb. Keep up the good work! How many children and grandchildren do you have. The little guys on your website as just so cute!!
Carol,
My apologies. I’m not sure how that typo got past us (my agent, my editor, the copy editor and of course, me). But I’m afraid I didn’t write the J. D. Robb books–that would be Nora Roberts.
I have three grandsons, and thank you! I think they’re pretty cute too.
Duncan…Duly noted
So glad you enjoyed RICOCHET!
