Smash Cut and a Surprise
Smash Cut is officially on sale!!You can find it at your local retailer or any online retailer. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!And in the extra other good news department last year I squeezed another book into my schedule, one totally different from my thrillers. I’m pleased to say that my publisher loved it so well, they’ve rushed it into production and it will be published in early November in time for the holiday season. The week of September 1 there will be an official announcement on my website, including the title, cover, and a video interview with me about this book. Please watch for it!On another note, I was particularly disburbed by the story of the sightseeing helicopter and private plane that collided over the Hudson River on August 8 that killed everyone aboard the two aircrafts. The tragedy came a little too close to home. One week earlier, on August 1, at exactly the same time of day, my son, Ryan, his wife, Victoria, and my grandson Raff, took the Liberty tour. It was a surprise treat for Raff’s sixth birthday. They were the only three on that flight. The next day they called to tell Michael and me all about it. They’d had a wonderful time, thanks mostly to the engaging pilot who’d made certain that Raff had a great time. The two had their picture made together. He was Jeremy Clarke, the pilot killed in the crash.

I am very excited that you have yet another wonder book published. I was wondering if you were going to go on tour this year?

Hi…just thought you should know that a fellow writer (advertising, not novels) is building a version of your home designed by architect Jack Davis. Where in NC is your home..my sister lives there and would love to see it. We are building our home in Tenneseee on my parents’ catfish farm.
Would love to see any pics you have of the way you decorated your Toad Hall.
Best,
Pamela

Hello Ms. Brown,
I just wanted to say how relieved i am that your family was not involved in the awful tragedy that occurred on that tour trip. i truly feel for all those who lost their lives and the families and loved ones they left behind….death is never easy on anyone especially when it is untimely. On a brighter note…i am so thrilled that your new book(s) are coming out. i’m a huge fan and have read just about everything you’ve published (even though my husband teases me about being obsessed with you…i promise that I have neither the motivation nor the insanity to take up stalking. lol)What can i say…i love a good thriller…and you are the best. Keep up the great work…you have a real talent…the way you mold your characters and stories, not to mention humor(i’ve been heard, a many late night, laughing at your books…)but i’m sure you enjoy writing them as much as i enjoy reading them…
Take care and best wishes to your Family,
